The brief for this Queenstown home was to furnish the living and dining areas with furniture considered early in the build, ensuring it complemented the scale, layout, and strong architectural lines of the space. The clients wanted a warm, relaxed, and welcoming feel, with subtle colour used to add softness and personality.

Set against a backdrop of raw concrete, natural timber, and expansive glazing, the furniture needed to both anchor the large open-plan areas and balance the home’s architectural edge. Our focus was on pieces that felt sculptural yet inviting, adding warmth without detracting from the surrounding landscape.
Using our RoomPlanner 3D modelling, we mapped the home to scale and developed the layout before construction was complete. The Bergamo sofa became the anchor for the living space, layered with Bermuda ottomans and the Porto living chair to create a flexible, inviting arrangement, while Camel Frisco set the tone for a palette of complementary textures and tones.
The finished result is a calm, cohesive interior that feels grounded and comfortable within its dramatic setting. Statement pieces like the Hamilton chairs and Princeton barstools add texture and warmth, with the Bergamo sofa, ottomans, and Porto chair forming a relaxed hub for everyday living and entertaining.
